Community Service Centers Run With Chest Funds
Two Roswell centers operate under Community Service Centers Inc with a 15 member council including ten local businessmen and five Walker AFB officers led by the base commander. Funds come from the Community Chest via the Red Feather Drive and budgets are supervised by Mrs. Paul Goodsell. CSC No 1 serves armed forces families with civilian Air Force management and is directed by Mrs. Hazel M. Wallace and S Sgt. Tracy F. Miller. Hours run from noon to 10 30 p m weekdays and 12 noon to midnight Saturday. Activities include coffee and doughnut Sundays, Saturday dances, and weekly game nights with two pool tables and a ping pong table. (Continued on Page Eleven).
