Shoplifting Incident Sparks Police Pursuit in City Parking Lot
Police say an SUV struck a female pedestrian in the Albertson’s lot on South Main Street and fled. An officer chased the SUV on Deming Street for under two minutes before it stopped at Union Avenue and Albuquerque Street. the driver was arrested. Occupants reportedly involved in the prior shoplifting incident. Victim sustained no serious injuries. Ongoing investigation.
