Roswell State Bank's green caterpillar float won the sweepstakes and first prize in the commercial division. The New Mexico Rehabilitation Center earned the director's award with a white float themed Growth Can Be Fun With the Rehabilitation Center. Other awards went to Roswell and Clovis schools and local groups, with judges including KSWS KBIM KRSY and Roswell Daily Record. Ronald McDonald appeared along Main Street near the Fiat display.
