Miss Rodeo USA Sandra Garnett of Clovis will appear at the Eastern New Mexico State Fairgrounds rodeo with performances starting at 7 30 p.m. today and Friday and a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday. Admission is 2 for adults and 1 for children under 12. Garnett, a former ENMU student, has won horsemanship and personality in this year’s IRA pageant and will join the International Finals Rodeo in Albuquerque.

Brandt to Receive Aspen Humanist Award in Aspen
Robert O. Anderson of Roswell and the Hondo Valley will present West German Chancellor Willy Brandt with the Statesman's Humanist Award at an 11 a.m. ceremony in Aspen Colorado. Brandt will also receive a sculpture by Herbert Bayer and a 10 gallon western hat. Brandt travels to Washington to meet President Nixon Saturday morning.
