NM education officials target national ranking as NM students prep
Christopher Ruszkowski state secretary of education urged Roswell fourth and eighth graders to strive for NAEP selection next year. He visited El Capitan Elementary Military Heights Elementary and Sidney Gutierrez Middle School after those schools earned A grades in NMTEACH, stressing students’ duty to uphold the state and possibly national ranking on the one hour reading and math assessment.

County Officials Fault BLM Coordination On Regional Plan
Chaves County commissioners told BLM Carlsbad staff they see a lack of coordination as the 15 000 page Carlsbad Regional Management Plan enters public comment.
