The 2016 Chile Cheese Festival concluded at the Roswell Convention and Civic Center with vendors selling crafts fruit and foods. Visitors enjoyed live music tents shade trees and home made sodas as early fall warmth lingered while Graves Farm drew the longest line for green chile and ristras.
In New Mexico two orphaned bear cubs named Valley Girl and Cowboy, rescued from the Valles Caldera, have gained weight under Dr. Kathleen Ramsay at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic. Ramsay plans their late autumn release after nearly three months of care totaling about six thousand dollars per cub.
