Pickup Crash Knocks Out Power to 500 Customers
Policeman Mike Greengrass notes as a pickup driven by Rodney Wallace a 17 year old from 1207 West Hobbs Street struck a junction pole at College Boulevard and Maple Street at 8 10 this morning. The crash cut power to about 500 Southwestern Public Service Co customers. Wallace was cited for careless driving. A new pole was erected and power restored by 9 52 a.m.
