Dulcimer artisan Kerry Anderson inspires a regional craft scene
Kerry Anderson, based at the Dulcimer Shop in Capitan, New Mexico, builds and sells a variety of dulcimers from student to custom models. Her shop highlights wood choices, painted sound-hole designs, and models like the Dragon, Kokopelli, and Equus while she blends a self taught origin story with a philosophy prioritizing family and music over material wealth.
