New computer based GED testing at ENMU Roswell
ENMU Roswell offers computer based GED tests in five subjects Writing Math Science Social Studies Reading. Total cost 120 for all five or 24 per test with online 24 7 registration and scheduling. Online tests run Monday Wednesday Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and results are immediate except for the writing essay. Paper pencil exams continue Tuesdays 8 am to 5 pm by appointment until December 2013.

New Mexico considers unitizing Felix River BLM lands
Public comment opened Sept 5 and closes Oct 5 on a proposal to unitize Felix River and Felix Canyon BLM lands in southwestern Chaves County. If approved by the MDG&F and then the BLM director, public access would be denied and hunting areas in Big Ox Yoke and Little Ox Yoke could be closed.
