Roswell Aviation Discovery & Fly-In Draws Crowds and Notables

The program included the New Mexico Youth ChalleNGE colors, a national anthem by Steve Hernandez, a proclamation of Roswell Aviation Discovery Day by Mayor Dennis Kintigh, and a tribute to WWII aviation pioneer Kenneth Walker via his son Douglas. Elvis impersonator Freddy Spargo entertained after the ceremony with rock songs and a performance beside Presley’s former airplane.
