Roswell water reservoir bids come in well under estimate
Roswell Infrastructure Committee heard three repair bids for twin water reservoirs near West Country Club Drive and North Brown Road. Bids ranged from 3.74 to 6.69 million, well below the 7.97 million engineering estimate. City Manager Chad Cole said the concrete tanks hold 15 million gallons and have leaked since 2011 or 2012.

Man Dies In New Mexico Crash On U S 285 Near Omaha Road
State Police identify Aaron Ordonez Hermosillo, 31, as the driver killed in a two vehicle crash on U S 285 near Omaha Road. No other injuries were reported and investigators say Hermosillo rear ended a GMC pickup that turned onto the highway before 5 40 a m. The investigation remains ongoing.

Panel backs Hudson and Riley for district court retention in NM
