Two Bodies Found Near Hall Plane Crash Site
In Alaska, the remains of two women were recovered from a beach 35 miles southeast of Ketchikan. They are identified as Mrs. Ellis Hall of Albuquerque and one of the Hall couple's daughters, Joann or Elizabeth. One daughter and Patrick Hibben, 17, remain missing. Last April at Camp Breckinridge Kentucky he told a WAC corporal named Beatrice he wouldn’t mind being sent to the Far East. Two days later he was en route to Korea. Woman hanged for murdering employer in Britain
Mrs. Louisa Merrifield aged 46 was executed for the murder of her 79 year old employer Mrs. Sarah Ann Ricketts using rat poison. Merrifield had been the caretaker and named as beneficiary in the widow’s will. Her husband Alfred, 70, faced charges but was released after a hung jury.
