Company Mileage Payments Are Low
A Federal Highway Administration study shows that average car costs run 119 cents per mile. NICB survey of 128 manufacturers finds most reimburse 10 cents per mile, with some as low as 8 cents and one at 15, while tooling and depreciation are higher in reality.
