Man Found Dead On Berrendo Road

Jack Daily was found lying in the 800 block East Berrendo Road at 9 24 p m and died at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Police said the death was due to natural causes and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Homicide charge filed against Aubrey Butler in train crash

Aubrey Leon Butler 41 of Hubbard Texas faces a negligent homicide charge after a gasoline truck crossed the Santa Fe Railway crossing and exploded, killing engineer Kirby R Vaughan and fireman L B Himmelreich. Butler was burned but listed in stable condition at Goodall Wichter Hospital Clifton.
