Pecos Valley Lumber Fire Suspected Arson
City fire officials say Pecos Valley Lumber Co. at 200 S. Main St. was destroyed by a Sunday blaze with more than 500000 dollars in damage and arson is suspected. State Fire Marshal investigators arrived in Roswell around 11:30 a.m. The fire began about 12:26 a.m. Three false alarms delayed initial response to the lumber yard. Power and phone service were interrupted in the affected area for about two hours.
