Roswell explores aquatic center with public meetings planned
The city weighs a new recreation center near Cielo Grande, considering general obligation bonds pending voter approval. If greenlit, construction would take about two years after a 2017 vote. Public meetings draw about 30 residents, Mayor Kintigh, four councilors, and stakeholders from Huitt Zollars and Counsilman Hunsaker as input is gathered for indoor or outdoor aquatic options and teen, senior, and tourist appeal.
