City voters defeat three bond issues totaling 4.25 million
Roswell voters rejected a 2.75 million street drainage, 1.25 million street improvements, and 250000 park improvements bonds. In 1974 and 1975 earlier drainage bonds were also defeated, totaling seven thousand voters at this week’s election. Councilman Boehms blamed the defeats for limiting street upgrades and affecting state plans on Second Street redevelopment.
