A 19 year old Baltimore man was charged with malicious destruction after running onto Memorial Stadium during the Baltimore Kansas City game and ripping down a tomato plant near the left field foul pole. The plant belonged to groundskeeper Pat Santarone who contests with Orioles manager Earl Weaver on tomato size. He was released on his own recognizance and faces trial September 11.

Vance warns Kremlin on Cuban troop presence
