Witness takes Fifth in Sandoval murder trial
Santa Fe defense witness Jose Larry Quintana refused to answer a question about cameras in Cellblock 4, delaying the first degree murder trial of inmate Jose Moises Sandoval for a third time. Judge Scarborough recessed after Quintana invoked the Fifth Amendment, as prosecutors and defense counsel argued over representation and access to evidence related to the February 23, 1980 riot at the State Penitentiary.
