Eight-year-old DWI crash victim released from Lubbock hospital
An eight year old girl injured in a crash near Artesia by Blake Bellema was released from a Lubbock hospital and is recovering at home. State police say Bolliema fled the scene and later returned. he faces charges of aggravated DWI second offense and three counts of great bodily harm by a vehicle along with other counts. A preliminary hearing is set for November 2 in Artesia Magistrate Court.
