Ellis Store Bed and Breakfast anchors Lincoln County History
The Ellis Store Bed and Breakfast occupies a two room adobe structure dating back 140 years and later served as a general store jail and hospital quarters. Current owners David and Jinny Vigil preserve era features while hosting weddings seminars and private dining with six course meals. The site links to Lincoln County War events and claims by Elisha Dow as well as former tenants, doctors and notable guests, with ghost lore and family ties to the Ellis lineage.
