Forgotten Heroes to receive full military honors in New Mexico
14 cremated veterans will be interred with full honors at Santa Fe National Cemetery on November 1 under New Mexico’s Forgotten Heroes Burial Program. Governor Susana Martinez will attend and deliver the eulogy. Names include Rodney Anderson and James Good among others. veterans groups and NMDVS will serve as family of record.

Fur Fest 2013 at Animal Village NM Promotes Adoptions
Animal Village NM hosts Fur Fest 2013 at its Alamogordo nine acre site on Hwy 5470 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fundraiser features live music, vendor booths, a pet costume contest, a guitar auction by Bret Michaels, a Dogs Deserve Better chain off, raffles, and activities to raise awareness for spay neuter and homeless pet adoptions. Admission is 5 dollars for adults with free entry for children under 12.
