Roswell lands first lease for Ammunition start-up
Red Mountain Arsenal LLC plans to begin operations at Roswell International Air Center in Building 60. The Arizona Georgia founders Pete Charnisky and Alfred Alvarado Jr. signed a five year lease with options for four five year extensions, with Mulcahy of the Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corp calling it the first lease of its kind.

Fourth suspect arrested in Roswell shooting case
Roswell police report 42 year old Thomas Dellavecchio was arrested Oct 16 on outstanding warrants for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and felon in possession of a firearm related to an August 29 shooting that injured one man. An officer patrolling the area made the arrest without incident.

RISD Considers February Bond Election and SB 9 Tax
Roswell Independent School District votes to hold a Feb 5 mail in special election on a 14 million general obligation bond and a continuation of a two mill SB 9 property tax to fund school improvements and student technology.
