Eugene Waters aged 25, from Lawton Oklahoma, died Friday morning at Joe Phillips ranch 25 miles west of Roswell where he sought TB care. He was a Phillips family nephew with a sister visiting uncles, a brother en route from Lawton, and a mother in Lawton. The body rests at Dilley funeral parlors awaiting the brother’s arrival. Also reported is a Home Mission Society meeting at M E Church South led by Mrs. Sam Jones during the week of prayer, with funds from Southern Methodist churches directed to the Ann Browder Rescue.
