Tragedy at Hagerman Farm Ends in Self Inflicted Firearm Death
E. V. Kennedy aged about 35 to 40 took his own life at his forty acre Hagerman area farm Sunday afternoon by shooting himself. He destroyed his galvanized tank burned his harness and set fire to his house. his body severely burned with both legs burned off. A note on the fence stated no one should be blamed and that he wished to die as the world was against him. He was unmarried and left a heavily mortgaged place. He had been found guilty at Roswell district court for carrying a gun and was thought to be insane by some. He had advertised for a wife in the Daily Record months earlier.

One Killed In Wreck Of Santa Fe Passenger Train
