Not Play for Sler's Big Company in Roswell

Last night Sler's big company failed to draw an audience for its second production of Down Mo as intended. Attendance was small, and money paid in was returned as the company prepared for transportation to Carlsbad. Roswell had been the year’s best town, but the circus and minstrel attractions proved too strong. The company did well Monday but not as well as in Roswell. They move on to Carlsbad where Allen's Minstrel and the company both perform tonight.

Artesia Advocate reports progress on the Cat Claw Reservoir project with George Frisk supervising.
