Oprah backed Angel's Gate pet hospice shut for mismanagement
Angel's Gate, a Delaware County New York pet hospice supported by Oprah Winfrey and other celebrities, has been dissolved after a state court found $3.1 million in donations misused for personal expenses. Marino barred from rescuing animals as a receiver is appointed to sell the 98 acre property. Proceeds go to animal care groups.
