Trains Update From Carlsbad To Pecos Delayed By Flood

Conductor W J Gossett reports a northbound train may depart Carlsbad for Pecos tomorrow though time is undecided. A work train delays service, floods and a stalled carlsbad Pecos service circulate. The northbound train reached Roswell at 10 55 this morning and a southbound passenger train was expected to cross the bridge soon.

Emmett J. De Arcy manager of the Western Union telegraph office returned last evening after an extended trip to the World’s Fair at St Louis. He will resume duties in the uptown office. In his absence Mr Saylor of Denver oversaw the office and will return to Denver.
