KBIM Returns to Main Airwaves in New Facility
KBIM Radio and Television moved from 113 W. Third St to remodeled offices at 214 N. Main St after 15 months renting the White's building. Fire destroyed the original KBIM at 308 N Main St on May 31, 1977, but both stations resumed broadcasting within days. First National Bank provided the former building, enabling restocking with modern equipment, and the final move cost is expected to be at least six figures.
