Ruidoso mayor cites funding inequity and city plans
City actions stalled on four Lincoln County joint powers agreements with Mayor Lloyd L. Davis Jr directing the unsigned papers. County offers include 12000 yearly EMS subsidy, 3000 for library books and equipment, 8000 for a Senior Center storage, and land use permissions for a landfill. A special session October 18 at the library will frame plan development with the planning commission. Tim Morris says airport remote frequency ready by December and FAA has approved perimeter fencing and a storage building.
