Father of recruit testifies in Louisville pay-for-play case
Brian Bowen Sr. testified in Manhattan federal court that Louisville assistant Kenny Johnson gave him 1300 dollars in 2017 as part of a pay-for-play scheme to steer Brian Bowen Jr. to the school. He described two meetings and said the coach claimed Dawkins would help with rent. The case led to Louisville firing Johnson and Rick Pitino.
