New York October 10 AP Rear Admiral Josoko Yamatoto Japanese delegate at the London Naval conferences said Japan would ask for abrogation of the Washington treaty. J C Summers of O'Donnell Texas was badly injured when struck by wheels of a train in Farwell Texas early yesterday. He died in a hospital last night, AP reports.

Drought cattle allotment expands for New Mexico

M E F Puryear, secretary to Senator Cutting, reports a Washington wire confirming an added drought relief cattle allotment for New Mexico. Based on past average price, the move could buy over 100000 head, though Chaves county’s share awaits word from Las Cruces. Local stockmen urged continued cattle buying via wires to Washington.
