Roswell Fair Opens With Big Crowd and Exhibits
The Third Annual Roswell Fair Association session opens tomorrow with heavy wagons delivering floral hall displays of fruit, farm products, canned goods, vegetables and crafts. About 30 track horses, four races daily, plus burro and sprint events highlight the schedule as Tallmadge excursionists and local exhibitors prepare for a bustling four days.

Confederates To Picnic In November Basket Dinner
Members of Valverde Camp United Confederate Veterans met in the court house on Saturday. They set November 4 for a basket dinner at the Slaughter ranch, the last such picnic deemed a success.
