Woman fends off robbery in Roswell store parking lot
A 35 year old Roswell woman resisted a purse snatching in a Walgreens lot on North Main Street at 4 49 a m. The would be robber fled and she chose not to pursue police. A campus lockdown at Eastern New Mexico University Roswell briefly occurred after a man carried a firearm into the CDL area but was detained and no weapon was found.
