EL PASO, John Hart Williams, 15, died in a city hospital after injuries from a 50 foot fall Thursday at Rocky Bluff Rio Ruidoso in Ruidoso. He suffered a fractured skull and leg and other injuries. At 8:14 p m last night a police department car and a private 1953 Oldsmobile collided at Lea and Hendricks. Police Chief Tommy Thompson said the private car failed to yield as the police car with siren and red light was on an emergency run. The 1952 Chevrolet driven by O G Perkins headed north on South Sea and the Oldsmobile coach driven by Myrial L Gilmore of 1407 W Hendricks St traveled east. Front of the police car and right rear of the coach were damaged. the police car skidded 29 steps after impact.
