Alleged Robber Acquitted in Carlsbad Trial
In Carlsbad New Mexico on September 30 the jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the case of Charles Hughes charged with robbing the safe of Sol Schoonover's saloon in June. Hughes had been employed as day bartender by Schoonover who filed the complaint. L. C. Fullen was involved in the proceedings.
