Drug price outrage over Daraprim and reform calls
Syndicated columnist Glenn Mollette argues high drug prices harm sick patients. He cites Turing’s 55 million takeover of Daraprim from Impax and a price jump to 750 per pill, with promises to cut costs but no figure. He calls for tighter oversight, Canada price parity, free first year of community college, and banning drug lobbyists.
