Berlin Nov 30 The German government announced that subject to reservations a cabinet has been formed with Dr Wilhelm Mark as chancellor and Dr Stresemann as foreign minister. The ministry is a minority one, established by a risky political compromise due to uncertainty over reception.
Verdun France Nov 30 the bodies of over a hundred German soldiers were found in a tunnel between Dead Man's Hill and Wethin court postured as if alive after a gas attack in the Verdun battle. The gas caused instant death as they leaned against the walls. Christmas Bazaar at Pecos Valley Dry Store features American Legion Auxiliary items and foods. Las Cruces high school football team left for home after a 20 to 7 loss to Roswell. Wilbur F. Coe returned home after several days attending to matters here.
Charges that officers and directors of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen squandered large amounts belonging to the society were filed in district court in Des Moines Iowa. The petition asks for an investigation and seeks a temporary injunction to restrain directors from forfeiting members.
In Houston on November 30 Mrs. C. O. Fuller fatally struck Fred Hickman as he tried to cross a street. Her car then sped through a crowded street and crashed into a street car, killing her instantly. Hickman suffered a fractured skull in the fatal incident.
Dr. John M. Lenoir aged 55 was shot dead at his home in Paris Texas. BE HW. Dodd, also 55, surrendered after the shooting. Authorities say domestic troubles led to the fatal incident.

Roswell High wins 20 7 over Las Cruces in a hard fought four quarter contest marked by a key 40 yard sprint by Boutz and three Roswell touchdowns by Horton Jacobson and Fyffe. The victory caps Roswell s strong 1923 season and cements coach J D Shinkle s celebrated team status.

The First M. E. Church filled to capacity for a community Thanksgiving service led by Rev. J. J. Cook of the First Baptist Church. Music directed by Miss Nelle Mason featured choirs from area churches, with a generous offering for the needy and a brief program including prayers, hymns, scripture, and a Thanksgiving proclamation.

Washington Nov 30 The senate committee probing the Teapot Dome oil leases examined former Secretary Fall's finances. A sworn statement by Senator Walsh said Fall could not pay taxes on his large ranch from 1912 to 1922. Taxes were later paid after full payment on the Teapot lease in April.
San Antonio Nov 30 Marthe Mansfield screen star died at noon today from burns received yesterday when a lighter match ignited her clothes on location while filming a picture. The flames were extinguished but not until she was badly burned. She was 22 and regarded as a firm beauty.
