Roswell Councilman Mack S. Thomas Dies at 59
Roswell City Councilman Mack S. Thomas 59 died of an apparent heart attack Sunday at his Roswell home. Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the New Mexico Military Institute Chapel. Thomas, a longtime civic leader and owner of Lee Mack Laundry, served on the city council since 1964 and chaired the City Airport Committee. He was survived by his wife Adelle and two sons, Mack S. Thomas Jr. and Mike Sam Thomas, with memorial contributions requested to the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center auxiliary.
