A L Fales, long time preacher and missionary, 97, now at Pecos Valley Rest Home, 200 S Penn Ave, reflects on 70 years in preaching and 65 years as a missionary. He joined the Sunday School Union in 1900 and Gideon Society in 1906, oldest member in New Mexico. He hopes to distribute 50 New Testaments in Sunset Villa Rest Home and 15 in Pecos Valley Rest Home, having organized 402 Sunday Schools in NM, IA, TX, MO. He attends Trinity Methodist Church and Downtown Bible Class.

Self-Caused Burns Fatal to West Chester Coed
Patricia Ann Conway a 22 year old West Chester State College junior died after setting herself on fire on campus. She had poured gasoline over her clothing and suffered second and third degree burns. Police said she gave personal reasons for the act and bought the gasoline the previous Sunday. Her father described her as quiet and devoted to studies.
