Bookkeeper to testify in real estate Ponzi case in Albuquerque
In Albuquerque a bookkeeper who kept records for a multi state Ponzi scheme plans to testify against former real estate executive Doug Vaughan. Martha Runkle, Vaughan's longtime assistant, has pleaded to testify about money wired through his Vaughan Company Realtors. Vaughan faces 30 counts including wire and mail fraud and money laundering.
