Pancake breakfasts aid families of Hwy 285 crash victims
The Chaves County Sheriff Office and High Chaparral Café hosted a charity pancake breakfast at 5500 N. Main St to raise funds for Sgt. Steve Meredith injured in the Oct 21 Hwy 285 crash near Chickasaw Road. Nearly $3,400 was collected for Meredith’s family medical costs. another breakfast is planned for Rosemary Becerra, 39, of Lake Arthur, who died in the same accident.
