Al Linderman and J. P. Sevener were hanged at Carson State Penitentiary for complicity in the 1903 murder of Jack Welch. Both confessed. Later that day Tr. S. Gorman and Fred Robert, also implicated, to be hanged. Judge W. W. Gatewood notes continued cases in Sweetwater Texas. Gatewood to be home Sunday.
Renowned humorist Eli Perkins will give a lecture in Roswell on December 15 under the auspices of the Cemetery Association. The lecture venue will be announced later.
