A 21 year old Clovis serviceman Spec 5 Gilivaldo A Martinez died in Viet Nam on Veterans Day in a helicopter crash. He was to be discharged Oct 18 but his tour was extended nine months due to the Viet Nam crisis. He served as helicopter crew chief.
