Jesus Zuniga was acquitted by a district court jury in Las Cruces, N M, on a murder charge tied to the August stabbing of Antonio Villanueva. Zuniga claimed self defense as the jurors reached a verdict early today after night deliberations. Trial of Marion Sanders, a Cambray homesteader, was postponed to November 21 amid a range feud in which three men were wounded near Cambray in September 1921.
Grant County official canvass shows Socialists 45 votes for presidential electors and 25 for Communists. Liberty party got 1 vote. Amendment No 1 passed 1,576 to 439 and Amendment No 2 1,554 to 396.

Frank Fleming, 53 year old rancher of Grant County New Mexico, killed himself with a small caliber rifle near his home. A note directed family to a spot by a light pole about 100 yards from the house. Fleming had been in poor health for years. a coroner's jury ruled the death a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
