City begins search for new planner after Kenneth White resigns
Kenneth White will resign as city planner effective December 15 to pursue a master’s degree. City Manager Robert Owen said applications are being reviewed and the vacancy will be published in the New Mexico Municipal League publication and area papers. NM General Fund Surplus Grows to 119.7 Million
New Mexico projects an unappropriated general fund surplus of 119.7 million by end of 1978-79, up from 98.6 million. Most gains come from severance tax income fund revisions, with 27 million in severance tax receipts expected for 1978-79. City Plans New Mobile Home Zoning Rules
