Indiana beat Minnesota 16 to 0 while Drake topped Denver U 9 to 8. Texas A and M and Southern Methodist played to 14, Baylor defeated Texas 13, Rice shutout Arkansas 7 to 0. Pittsburgh led Nebraska 12 to 6. In the first period Utah and Colorado U were scoreless until Colo State 9, Brigham Young 9, Colo Col 13, Colo Aggies 0, Utah Aggies 14.
The acidizing operation in the East Grand Plains area southeast of Roswell was completed this afternoon by C. J. Franks. A test is planned for next week to assess production, but no results or specifics are available yet.

Roswell wool market reports 75,000 pounds sold to Ralph Vandewart for French Worsted Mills from Bond-Baker Company. Sales include 44,000 pounds to Yoder-Boswell Gly at 16 1/8 cents, 14,000 pounds to Mrs. James Sottielund clip at 3 8 cents, 12,900 pounds to Albert Pruit clip at 238 5/8 cents, and 7,900 yards to John T Acrelip at 1/2 cent.
Santa Fe district records show fines totaling 41160 for having two deer before season. Magdalena’s Carl Welch reported the conviction of Freem Proctor of Oklahoma for two doe deer before opening day. Total fines and court costs reached 4110, per the game department.
Los Angeles November 10. Ginger Rogers obtained a license to marry Lew Ayres, who could not attend. The screen couple plan to wed Wednesday in Glendale.
