Roswell House Burns To Ground
A three room house at 701 North Garden in Roswell owned by Mrs Bryant and occupied by Russell Smith and family burned to the ground this morning around ten o clock after a coal oil stove exploded. Mrs Smith had left briefly for a neighbor s house and no one was home when the blast occurred. Oil splashed through the dwelling, feeding the fast flames and the fire department could not prevent total loss. Nothing was saved from the blaze.
