Family killer used butcher knife and shotgun in Farmington
Police traced notes at the scene to Roger Shern 28 who killed his three children Michelle Kay 7 Sheryl Lynn 5 Donald 4, his former wife Barbara Lee Shern 28, and friend Johnnie Marie Sonnier 33 with a butcher knife and a 410 gauge shotgun before killing himself. Autopsy and coroner report pending. neighbors say the couple were recently divorced.
