Indictments Return in Nevada Narcotics Case and Colorado Prison Escape
A federal grand jury indicted Las Vegas narcotics agent Lynn Heimerich on possession with intent to distribute marijuana tied to an Oct. 23 incident. Heimerich allegedly delivered marijuana to a DEA informant after a $4,000 payment. Also indicted were Dalton Williams and Jerry Van Ulmer of Canon City on interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle and two kidnapping counts linked to an Aug. 23 escape from Colorado’s penitentiary and a cross state car theft and abduction spree ending in Texas. a third escapee was killed in a gun battle.
